The ability to search the faculty, staff and personnel policy handbooks has been missing since our website re-launch this past June. In technical jargon, the indexing and searching mechanisms in the new website were completely re-architected, resulting in the need to rewrite how the searches are performed and the output they show.
With the rewrite, we were able to include a bit more contextual information about the matching page(s). In the updated search results, we now show the chapel and section/sub-section/sub-sub-section/etc. of where the page fits into the handbook being searched.
Select one of the handbooks from the Human Resources Handbooks page, log in, then click the “Search” link at the bottom of the chapter listing to get started.
